INSIDE CATS:

Schedule the spay or neuter surgery appointment by scrolling down to the “Schedule Now” icon and follow the instructions to schedule the surgery. Cats must arrive in a cat carrier, lined with a towel or newspaper. Cat carriers must be NO TALLER THAN 14" and with a metal door latch system only!!!. NO CARDBOARD BOX CAT CARRIERS. We can spay kittens at 3 lbs (which is about 12 weeks old).

STRAYS/FERALS/OUTSIDE CATS THAT LIVE OUTSIDE

NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY. Drop off is between 8:30 & 9am. We take in outside cats for surgery on a first come, first served basis. EACH CAT MUST BE IN A HARD CAT CARRIER, NO TALLER THAN 12" OR HUMANE TRAP (Except Easy Set Design) WITH NO MORE THAN 2.5ft OF LENGTH, lined with newspaper. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT FERAL CATS IN SOFT ZIP UP CARRIERS OR CARDBOARD CARRIERS. Minimum price is $50 for spay or neuter, ear notch and rabies vaccine, up to 3 cats per person, per surgery day.

We can spay kittens at 3 lbs (which is about 10 to 12 weeks old). We can spay a COMMUNITY female cat if she is pregnant, lactating or in heat (at no additional cost).

BROWARDPETSFIX - TNR Community/Feral Cat Sterilization Program, from Tuesdays to Fridays.

Residents and caregivers of unowned feral and community cats can apply and receive a voucher in order to get feral/community cats spayed/neutered. To receive an TNR Sterilzation voucher, please access our WebPortal to begin the application process.

If you choose our clinic, bring the printed vouchers along with your ID. Please read and follow the instructions to bring OUTSIDE CATS to us for surgery. 3 cats per person, per surgery day. NO EXCEPTIONS. YOU DO NOT SCHEDULE APPOINTMENTS. We take in surgeries on a first come, first served basis.

BROWARDPETSFIX - SNIP Program. NO AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME !!!

SNIP is a voucher-based program, which provides free or low-cost sterilization services for OWNED cats.

The program is open to ALL Broward County residents. SNIP services will include spay/neuter surgery; a rabies vaccination, and a Broward County Rabies Registration License Tag. To apply to the SNIP Program, please access our WebPortal to begin the application process.

If you choose our clinic, please read and follow the instructions to bring INSIDE CATS to us for surgery. Please PRINT OFF the SNIP Voucher and bring a copy of your pet rabies certificate if not due.

You must contact us via petspopulationcontrol@gmail.com OR text 305-902-8556 with the approximate weight and age of your dog and the surgery day you prefer and we will schedule the appointment for you. We need to schedule the appointment so we can reserve the proper sized space for your dog. A $100.00 pre-paid deposit is required to schedule an appointment. If you do not show, or cancel the appointment within 48 hours, see our cancellation policy. .

All dogs must arrive to the clinic with properly fitting collars and must be on a leash.

Due to our small facility we would not accept sick animals for the well being of the other animals or any animals the doctor concidered to risky for our facility. Thank you for your understanding.

PRE-OP INSTRUCTIONS

VERY IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ

Drop off is between 8 to 8:30 for owned pets and 8:30 to 9 am for ferals. Due to the nature of our business, WE WILL NOT ACCEPT ANY PET AFTER 9 AM. Any appearance after 9:00 a.m will be taken as a NON-SHOW, see our cancellation policy. The pick up time is usually between 1:00 to 2:30p.m, but we will tell you at the entrance at what time you should come to pick up your pet. If you don't retrieve your pet at the agreed time, we will charge $100 per hour for waiting for you and will exercise the right to either turn the animal over to the nearest humane society or dispose of as deemed just and proper as allowed by the state of Florida.

You must show proof of current rabies vaccination paperwork for cats/dogs over 4 months old. If the pet doesn't have the rabies vaccine, we will administer the vaccine the same day.

No food or water after 10:00 pm the night before surgery. Does not apply to feral cats.

Full payment is required at drop off time. We accept cash, debit and credit cards.

Our goal is to provide affordable, high volume, quality care spaying/neutering services. In order to do so, we’ve had to implement an appointment cancellation/no show policy. When a pet does not show up for a scheduled appointment, another pet loses an opportunity to be spayed/neutered. It also adversely affects our business and our ability to continue to provide affordable prices to you.
